Inspired by a recent visit to the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul - including a very special tour of the private quarters within.
 
Only accessible to the closest of family members at its time of service, 
‘Harem’ is derived from Maharem, 
which literally describes a state of privacy and inaccessibility to strangers.
 
Befitting the living quarters of a Sultan and his Family, the décor, colours, motifs and textures are of such captivating beauty that words hardly suffice to even attempt to describe them.
 
With it’s wide spectrum of fully restored paintings of predominantly central Asian Floral designs across walls and ceilings;
